# QA Wolf's static IPv4

> QA Wolf's static IPv4 range for firewall allowlisting and IP-restricted access to your application.

Our range is: `199.4.212.0/23`

You can verify QA Wolf's ownership of this range through the [ARIN WHOIS registry](https://whois.arin.net/rest/net/NET-199-4-212-0-1).

## When this is required

You need this IP range if you restrict access by source IP, for example:

* Firewall allowlisting for public or internal services
* Client-based VPNs (such as OpenVPN) that restrict connections by IP

## When this is not required

You do not need this IP range for:

* Site-to-site IPsec VPNs
* Mesh VPNs (such as Tailscale or Twingate)
* Routing inside a VPN tunnel
